Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj taught the importance of seva beside sadhna and inspired lakhs of people to devote their life to helping others.
This noble mission found its momentous expression in a huge winter distribution organized by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat on December 11, 2024. In the deep absence of H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, dearly called by the community as Badi Didi, sadhakas and devotees of the ashram draw their strength under the able leadership of Presidents H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji. United by the vision of Shri Gurudev, they walk forth in His legacy of compassion and service.
Winter Warmth for 20,000 Underprivileged Children
This week, JKP's current charitable activity reached out to over 20,000 destitute children living in regions across Vrindavan, Barsana, and Pratapgarh. The children, belonging to poorer families, suffer from cold winds since they are left outside during winter without coverings. In this regard, JKP gave away warm jackets, blankets, and socks to those in need. The materials make these deprived children warm and send a message: these are gifts of comfort meant to represent the eternal warmth and care that Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj instilled in every aspect of JKP's work.
A Heartwarming Beginning at Prem Mandir, Vrindavan
On the first day at Prem Mandir, Jagadguru Kripalu Dham, Vrindavan 5,000 children get the winter supplies to take some relief in winter. They received a warm jacket, comfortable blanket, and socks, each children was seen happy after getting the supplies and thanking to the givers.
It was a reminder of the unrelenting commitment of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj to visitation for service to the children - as the heavens rang with the sweet sounds of laughter, so will Prem Mandir resound with this cheerful lens. Photographs immortalize the moment's emotions, making it tangible for ages to come.
Spreading Warmth at Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana
The second distribution phase resumed at Kirti Mandir, Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana, on December 12. During this distribution, about 6,000 children received benefits. Each child received thoughtfully curated bags containing winter essentials along with additional items such as a flashlight and a strong steel container.
While joy reigned, it also evoked a sense of deep memory for Badi Didi, whose constant toil and tireless love had made it possible for such things to happen. Her life is still a torchlight to the Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat sadhaks, with whom she inspires devotion to carrying her torch for the years to come.
Walking the Path of Seva and Sadhana
